I am still behind. That is the story of my life lately as I attempy to keep up on the blog, scrapbook, and the chores of life!! So I will go through a basic run down of our lives from August to now. Fasten your seatbelts ya'll!
August- The only month in the year that we have NO birthdays in our immediate family. So not a whole lot went on for us in August....that I can remember anyway!
September- I turned 28 fabulous years old on the 3rd. About a week later my grandparents, and great and uncle Billy and Janet took a road trip fro Ky to visit us all at my parents. We were lucky to be able to spend the week at Nana and Papa's visiting while they were there. We went to 9 mile canyon (my first time ever, and I lived near it my entire life), Moab to see the arches, and spent some time playing corn hole...which is always a good time!! The beginning of fall is one of my favorite seasons. Also found out in September that Ash and Chad were having a baby GIRL! The last weekend in September Bryan and I attended a Weekend to Remember marriage getaway at the Ogden Marriott hotel. Had a great time, and learned many valuable things. My first time really seeing Ogden, I liked it there! Lots of birthdays in our family in Sept, too many to list all but among them are both of Bryans siblings Jamie and Aaron, niece chenoa, Papaw, ME and many more! lol. Bryans parents also celebrated their anniversary.
October- Beautiful fall arrived! We took Braxton to the Boo at the Zoo to trick or treat. He was a Dragonosaurus, I was a fairy, and Bryan was a scary guy in a mask! The weather was beautiful and we had fun trick or treating! That was the highlight of the month! Also celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday!
November- So much to be thankful for! Spent Thanksgiving with my family this year. Played games with our family and Simonia and Stevin. Laughed so hard we all cried! Had a fantastic, traditional Thanksgiving dinner to top it all off! Celebrated Preston's 1st birthday, and my amazing father-in-law also had a birthday! Braxton got to meet his great grandparents from Tx this month also! They came to visit for a week so he got to spend lots of time with them.
December- Merry Christmas everyone! Had our Santa morning at home, then lunch with meme and dad-dad, off to out 1st annual Christmas party at Aunt Iona's then off to mom and dads to celebrate with them! The party was a blast. Great food, even better family! Had kareoke, movie for the kids, and games! It was a great time for sure! And to end a fantastic year, my baby boy turned 3 on December 31st. The absolute BEST new years gift ever.
There was the remainder of 2010 in a small nutshell. Now for the beginning of 2011...pictures to come!!
January 2011- Happy new year ya'll!! Started the month with a birthday party for Braxton at Chuck E Cheese! Made a gigantic "Muno" cake from Yo Gabba Gabba...that was an adventure in itself! Topped off the month with a few resolutions that so far I seem to be struggling with (in mid Feb...not good!)
Feb- Happy birthday Bryan and grandma. Had a nice dinner with my family the weekend before...then a superbowl/birthday party with his parents- complete with an awesome 4 layer chocolate torte cake with made from scratch cream cheese frosting! I have decided I like making and decorating cakes! Went to Makdo for Sushi and then to see the movie The Dilemma for our Valentines date, it was alot of fun. Went to lunch with mom, Brax and grandma to celebrate her 86th birthday. Braxton seen a peacock at her house for the first time ever. He called in a "poo-hock", we laughed pretty hard about that! Feb. 19th took the Fun Bus to Wendover for the first time with some friends. It was a great time! The bus practically pays YOU to ride it, doesn't get much better than that. Oh, and the buffet was pretty great too...I am always up for good food! Maybe thats why I am struggling with one of my resolutions??
